What is Super 6?
FOX Bet Super 6 is a free-to-play game where players can win money by accurately predicting the outcome of contests based on leagues such as MLB, NFL, NBA, NASCAR, and others. It is totally free and, because of that, it is a legal game in all American states and serves as a cross-selling platform for other FOX products.
What was the problem?
The problem addressed in this project was the fluctuation in the number of players throughout the year. While the game experienced high participation during the NFL season, it had fewer players during the rest of the year. This issue needed to be resolved by providing additional incentives for players to join and remain engaged with the game.
How did we approach it?
We approached by developing new features to attract and retain users. One of these features was the introduction of "Leagues." This game mode involved a selection of contests that offered extra prizes to players. Additionally, players had the opportunity to create their own leagues, customize various aspects, and invite friends to join at any time. The team gathered user opinions through quantitative surveys and benchmarked other games in the same segment to ensure the new features met the users' expectations and needs.
